Dimensions(1): 18 inches longCutter(1): 2-3/8 inches wideConstruction(1): Cast iron, rosewood handle and knobFinsh(1): JapannedUser Info(1): General purpose bench plane. Used for fine flat finishing. A heavy plane that will produce chatter-free results even in harder woods. Also good to use as a wide scrub plane by taking an extra cutter and grinding a wide, shallow curve on it. The result will look like 18th century interior tool marks. The 6C is perferred by many for working on resinous woods. The corrugated provides less friction, making the plane glide easier.
