5 Drawer Chest of Drawers ( Yellow Pine )
This chest of drawers was constructed based on plans found in Norm Abram's book "Mostly Shaker". I did modify the design to incorporate aromic cedar dust panels and drawer bottoms. I used yellow pine for the carcase and internal frames. I used heartwood yellow pine for the drawer fronts. One day when I was in the local lumber yard I noticed that there was a group of clear pine boards with old growth heartwood. I used this wood for the drawer fronts.
